Cyber Port, a platform for digital transformation in trade and logistics run by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT)’s Port and Harbor Bureau, will today enhance its links with the Nippon Automated Cargo and Port Consolidation System (NACCS), a system for electronically processing import and export cargo, ship and airflight arrivals and departures and so on.

To the API to connect to the NACCS that it provides, specifically, Cyber Port will add available business codes. Currently, NACCS export and import declaration copies, approval notices and other ledgers can be downloaded from the platform, to which more items will be added. Cyber Port’s function for outputting ledgers before transmitting them will also be upgraded. Like outputting ledgers in Excel template files, users will be able to output some NACCS ledger data in Excel files before sending them to the NACCS. There will also be minor improvements in the GUI function, with which, for example, users will be able to save ICG cargo management numbers. They will also be able to input and output CSV data to and from EDA product columns.
