Meidong Container Terminal at Port of Ningbo-Zhoushan in China has earmarked a tentative reopening date of September 6. As no new cases of Covid-19 have been detected, a phased reopening might begin earlier.
The terminal, which usually handles about one quarter of the port's containerized shipments, has been closed since August 11 after a 34-year-old port worker was found to have caught Covid-19.
