Nippon Automated Cargo and Port Consolidated System, known as NACCS Center, held the information sessions regarding its proposed Advance Filing Rules, the Japanese version of 24-hour Rule, in the United States (Chicago, New Jersey and Los Angeles), as part of its public relations' activities to make overseas exporters well prepared for the new rules to be implemented in March 2014.

The session was co-hosted by CargoSmart, a Hong Kong-based service provider.

NACCS Center has held a series of information sessions at major cities in Japan, Asia, United States, and Europe. In this time, as the participants from Carriers and NVOCCs, the filers under the Rules, had a deep interest in the contents of the sessions, various inquiries were made such as about the details of each data elements to be filed and advance notice from Japan Customs.
