The Intra-Asia Discussion Agreement (IADA) has recommended its members to apply revenue recovery of US$150 per TEU and $300 per FEU for reefer cargo to/from Japan, effective April 1, 2010.
Its previous announcement to raise $100 per TEU for dry cargo to/from Japan on April 1 remains unchanged.
IADA lines implemented a rate recovery of $50 per TEU for all areas other than Japan on January 15 and $75 per TEU for all areas other than Japan on March 15.
Under the 2010 business plan, they are also set to increase $50 per TEU for all areas other than Japan, effective June 1; $75 per TEU for all areas other than Japan, effective September 1; and $100 per TEU for cargo to/from Japan, effective October 1.
