The latest KOBC Container Composite Index (KCCI) quoted 2,675 points on Monday, according to Korea Ocean Business Corp. (KOBC). Spot rates for container exports from Busan increased on almost all trade lanes, but those to Japan and China, lifting the index 7.95% from a week earlier.

On the main lanes, the individual KCCIs were up 10.24% to 3,456 points to the U.S. West Coast, up 7.4% to 4,572 points to the U.S. East Coast, up 9.94% to 3,120 points to Europe, and up 5.11% to 4,344 points to the Mediterranean.

On the non-main lanes, the KCCIs were up 0.2% to 6,003 points to the Middle East, up 8.74% to 2,189 points to Australia, up 17.87% to 4,676 points to the east coast of Latin America, up 15.18% to 3,847 points to the west coast of Latin America, up 3.95% to 3,181 points to Southern Africa, and up 2.15% to 4,419 points to West Africa.

Within Asia, the KCCIs were up 6.23% to 1,142 points to Southeast Asia, unchanged at 238 points to Japan, and unchanged at 52 points to China.
