Shenzhen Port, consisting of Yantian, Nanshan and Dachan Bay container ports, set another container throughput record of 26.548 million TEUs in 2020, up 3.2% against 2019. The port handled 24.364 million TEus of ocean-going containers which represent a 2.27 increase over the previous year.
Yantian port contributed 13.348 million TEUs in 2020, up 2.14% year on year and Nanshan Port handled 11.838 million TEUs, up 3.62% on year. Volumes at Dachan Bay Port rose 6.97% from a year before to 1.361 million TEUs.
