Japan exported 86,257 secondhand motor vehicles (passenger cars, cargo freighters, buses and electric vehicles) in July, according to a reported compiled by the International Auto Trade Association (iATA) with trade statistics provided by the Ministry of Finance (MOF). The total number decreased a notable 24.7% from a year earlier, still being impacted by the ongoing novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. However, it was slowly recovering from May and June, when it plunged 50.5% and 31.9%, respectively.
