The Central Board of Indirect Taxes And Customs (CBIT) of the Department of Revenue, the Ministry of Finance in India, recently has issued a notice, postponing the date of coming into force of Sea cargo and Manifest and Transhipment Regulations, 2018, from March 1, 2019 to August 1, 2019.
The regulation stipulates revised timelines and requirements for the cargo manifestation of imports arriving in India, as well as exports out of India.
