Container throughput at Shanghai port increased 6.9% year on year to 3.02 million TEUs in April, hitting a 3-million-TEU mark for the first time this year, according to figures recently released by Shanghai International Port Group (SIPG).
In the first four months, box volumes processed at the world's busiest container port totaled 11.19 million TEUs, up 5.3% compared to the 10.61 million TEUs achieved in the same period last year.
