The port Shanghai handled 2.9 million TEUs in September, representing a decline of 1.7% from 2.95 million TEUs for the same period last year. In the first nine months, box traffic rose 3.8% on year to 24.23 million TEUs.
Singapore
Containerized cargo at the port of Singapore totaled 2.7 million TEUs in September, up 4.1% compared with 2.6 million TEUs in in the same period last year.
Hong Kong
Hong Kong port processed 1.80 million TEUs in September, suffering a year-on-year decline of 5.4% from 1.9 million TEUs in the same month in 2012.
