French ports will be again affected by dockworkers' strikes organized by the trade union CGT (General Confederation of Labor) which called for another 24-hour strikes by dockworkers on January 21 (Friday) and 23 (Sunday) and a 24-hour work stoppage by other port personnel on January 22 (Saturday) and 23 (Sunday).
In France, the CGT union has staged a series of 24-hour strikes since the beginning of 2011, closing down most of the nation's container ports.
