The U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) plans to require the air cargo industry to screen all air cargo carried on passenger aircraft bound for the U.S. by the end of 2011, well ahead of its previous deadline of until 2013.

Airlines will have 30-45 days to comment on the accelerated 100% screening requirement before TSA issues a final rule.
