The Australian port of Brisbane remains closed to all shipping and is subject to further review by Maritime Safety Queensland (MSQ).

Port of Brisbane Pty Ltd.'s (PBPL) resources are deployed on debris collection and assisting MSQ and other agencies to keep the port waters as safe as possible.

There has been no inundation on port lands at Fisherman Island or Whyte Island. Port roads are open. Power to Whyte Island has been restored, and fisherman Island power supply remain stable

Significant flooding in Queensland has occurred in areas of South East Queensland including Ipswich, Caboolture and Brisbane during January 211-13, 2011.

According to ANL, there are no vessels currently alongside its Fisherman Island Terminal following Port Authority instructions for all vessels to vacate the port last night. The terminal is manned for limited yard operations and some road traffic through the gate is expected today. The company said its Brisbane Office will be closed until further notice.
