Container traffic from Asia to Europe for November 2010 was 13.8% up on the same period in 2010, to 1,104,800 TEUs, registering a double-digit increase for the three consecutive months while box volume from Europe to Asia declined slightly by 0.08% from a year earlier to 463,600 TEUs, according to London-based Container Trade Statistic Ltd.
For the first 11 months, the westbound container trade saw a 18.8% increase over the same period last year at 10,394,0219 TEUs while the eastbound trade gained a 3% increase year on year to 5,078,000 TEUs.
