Indonesia's Ministry of Trade has postponed the implementation of Indonesian-language labels requirement for the goods in circulation to September 1, 2010. It reportedly was to take effect on July 1, 2010.

These measures were implemented through the Ministry of Trade Regulation No. 22/M-DAG/PER/5/2010 dated May 21, 2010.and in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act No. 8 of 1999. Minister Decree No 22/2010.

The products required to be labeled in Indonesian language include Indonesian household electronics, telecommunications and informatics; means of building materials; purpose vehicles (spare parts and others); and other commodities, including power cables, socks, footwear and leather products, switches, toys, and apparel.
