The Philippines' Bureau of Customs has extended full-fledged implementation of pre-shipment inspection of imports into the country by two weeks, to June 10, 2010. The scheme was to take effect on May 27. After June 10, all bulk and break bulk cargo imports bound for the Philippines will have to undergo pre-shipment inspection in origin countries by international bulk and break bulk cargo surveying companies and surveyors.
