Drewry's Intra-Asia Container Index (IACI) rose 4% in the third week of April to $870 per FEU, its first increase in two weeks. Compared to last year, the index was 23% higher.
Intra-Asia spot rates were unchanged at $53 per FEU from Busan to Shanghai, up 36% to $60 per FEU from Ho Chi Minh City to Shanghai, up 12% to $57 per FEU from Jakarta to Shanghai, down 5% to $1,275 per FEU from Shanghai to Jawaharlal Nehru, up 5% to $771 per FEU from Shanghai to Singapore, up 7% to $1,356 per FEU from Shanghai to Tanjung Pelepas, unchanged at $790 per FEU from Shanghai to Yokohama, and down 7% to $95 per FEU from Yokohama to Shanghai.
