The U.S. port of Los Angeles processed 812,000 TEUs of containers in January, down 12.1% year on year. Imports of loaded containers accounted for 421,594 TEUs, down 12.9%; exports, 104,297 TEUs, down 7.9%; and empties, 286,110 TEUs in total, down 12.5%.
