The latest KOBC Container Composite Index (KCCI) stood at 2,394 points on Monday, down 2.25% from a week earlier, Korea Ocean Business Corp. (KOBC) announced on the same day.
On the main lanes, the individual KCCIs came to $2,500 per FEU to the U.S. West Coast, down 7.68%; $4,769 per FEU to the U.S. East Coast, down 3.25%; $3,285 per FEU to Europe, up 0.61%; and $3,925 per FEU to the Mediterranean, down 2.24%.
On the non-main lanes, the KCCIs amounted to $2,800 per FEU to the west coast of Latin America, $2,662 per FEU to the Middle East, down 1.04%; $%1,787 per FEU to Australia, up 3.12%; $6,325 per FEU to the east coast of Latin America, up 0.99%; $4,691 per FEU to West Africa, up 1.8%; and $3,695 per FEU to Southern Africa, up 3.82%.
Inside Asia, the KCCIs quoted $50 per FEU to China, unchanged; $1,053 pe FEU to Southeast Asia, down 1.13%; and $224 per FEU to Japan, down 0.44%.
