China exported US$19.23 billion worth of products to Russia in April, which increased 41.3% from the same month of 2022, according to China’s Customs Administration. Meanwhile, imports from Russia to China expanded 24.8%. In the first four months (January-April), $73.148 billion worth of commodities were traded between the nations.

The number of railway container services is on the rise between China and Russia, which indicates growth in trade between them. In Trans-Eurasia Logistics, new services have been launched from China to Moscow. More specifically, new railway container services were commenced in February from Langfang, Hebei Province to Moscow and in March from Beijing to Moscow.
