The composite China Containerized Freight Index (CCFI) stood at 2,526.65 points in Week 24, climbing 3.4% from the previous week to reach a new all-time high, according to the Shanghai Shipping Exchange (SSE). The composite Shanghai Containerized Freight Index (SCFI) also hit a new record, growing 1.2% to 3,748.36 points.

On the trade route to Europe, the CCFI improved 4.3% to 4,187.33 points, but to the Mediterranean, the index fell 0.5% to 4,775.77 points. On the North America route, the CCFIs hike 7.9% to 2,134.62 points to the east coast and 4.5% to 1,718.08 points to the west coast.

On north-south trades, the indexes came to 1,662.47 points for exports to Australia and New Zealand, up 4.8%; 3,062.19 points to the Middle East Gulf and the Red Sea, up 6.9%; 2,121.02 point to South America, up 6.9%; 2,151.93 points to southern Africa , up 2.2%; and 1,629.24 points to western and eastern Africa, up 0.5%.

On the intra-Asia route, the CCFI declined 1.6% to 914.74 point for container exports to Japan and 1.8% to 1,316.29 point for those to Southeast Asia. In contrast, the index picked up 1.12% to 899.04 points for shipments to South Korea.
