A total of 3,706,600 TEUs of containers were moved on the intra-Asia trade in June, growing 1.8% from a year earlier and accomplishing a year-on-year improvement for the fourth straight months, according to statistics the Japan Maritime Center (JMC) compiled from data provided by Container Trades Statistics Ltd. (CTS) of the U.K. In the first half (January-June), 21,108,800 TEUs were traded, up 1%.
