Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP) has announced that its container throughput totaled 7,571,096 TEUs, representing a 13.2 % increase over the previous year's 6,806,300 TEUs.
Tan Cang - Cai Mep International Terminal (TCIT) handled the largest volume of 4,723,002 TEUs, up 8.4% from a year earlier, followed by Tan Cang - Cat Lai Terminal's 210,4,713 TEUs, up 24.4% on year. Both terminals are located in Ho Chi Minh City
The SNP terminals dominated the lion's share of 92% of the entire container volumes handled in Ho Chi Minh Port and accounted for 50% of all containers processed in the country in 2018.
