The government of Shanghai has filed a notice to advise that ammunition, explosives, poisonous substances, radioactive materials and other dangerous objects be placed under safe management during the first China International Import Expo (CIIE), an event to be held in the city for six days from November 5 to 10. The notice is effective from Oct. 23 to Nov. 12. From Nov. 2 to Nov. 12, in particular, hazardous chemicals will not be allowed to be transported by road. As such, the government is promoting awareness among importers and exporters of dangerous goods.
