Container throughput at the port of Hong Kong rose 9.2% to 1.81 million TEUs in January 2018, achieving the first increase since last September. Kwai Tsing Container Terminal handled a lion's share of 1.41 million TEUs, up 5.9% year on year, and other terminals processed 400,000 TEUs, up 22.9% on year.
