The Transpacific Stabilization Agreement (TSA) recently unveiled the TSA Revenue Index—which regards June 2008 as the baseline month with a value of 100 points—for shipments bound for the west coast and interior point intermodal (IPI) destinations was 75.67 points in September, which fell 0.12 percentage points from a month earlier and was the first month-on-month contraction in two months. From a year earlier, the index was down 0.43 points from 75.24 points.

The index for containers destined to the east coast of North America and the U.S. Gulf Coast went down 1.87 percentage points from August and incurred the first month-on-month decline in two months. From September 2016, however, they improved 0.69 percentage points to 63.95 points.
