Effective August 1, the Chinese port of Qingdao has banned import and export of all dangerous goods classes 1 to 7. Cargo already being loaded must be discharged or transhipped by August 31, 2017.
The ban took effect on August 4 for exports and will take effect on August 14 for imports.
All dangerous goods, except classes 1 and 7, remain permitted for transit in Qingdao.
