The revenue index for services bound for the west coast of and interior point intermodal (IPI) destinations in North America rose by 10.7 points from the previous month to 80.16 points in February, enjoying a month-on-month improvement for the second consecutive month, according to the TSA Revenue Index, which regards June 2008 as the baseline month with a value of 100 points. The index remained robust, exceeding the 80-point line for the first time since February 2016, although, from a year earlier, it went down by 0.36 points.

On the other hand, the Transpacific Stabilization Agreement (TSA), which unveils the TSA Revenue Index, added the index for services destined to the east coast of North America and the U.S. Gulf Coast decreased by 0.75 points from the previous month to 73.28 points in February, incurring the first month-on-month decrease in two months. The index remained above the 70-point mark for two months in a row, although it fell by 0.36 points from a year earlier.
