The Vietnam Railway Corporation (VNR) and Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP) have agreed to set up inland container depots in two inland container depots (ICDs) in the Song Than Industrial Park in the southern province of Binh Duong and in Dong Anh District in Hanoi
SNP is a leading terminal operator in the country whose container terminal network extends nationwide centering on Cat Lai Port and Cai Mep Port. It controls a lions’s share of 85% in container throughput in Southern Vietnam and 50% throughout the country.
The partnership with VNR is expected to expand its logistics network further into the inland area.
