India's state-run Container Corporation of India Ltd. (CONCOR) launched regularly scheduled container train service from Dadri in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh to Tondiarpet in Chennai on October 23.
The new service will carry, among others, white goods manufactured by South Korean electronic makers, auto parts from Japanese manufactures and Patanjali products. Transit time of the service is approximately 70 hours.
