Container throughput at the Port of Vancouver in British Columbia totaled 1,935,661 TEUs in the first eight months of the year, down 6% from the same period last year.
Inbound box traffic fell 4% from a year earlier to 1,021,228 TEUs while outbound containers declined 7% year on year to 914,433 TEUs.
