The expansion of the Davao International Container Terminal (DICT) in Mindanao, Philippines has been completed as part of efforts to position the island as a gateway to the global market.

Now the DICT is the only port in the country that can accommodate post-Panamax vessels with the extended total berth length of 423 meters at Berth 2 and 3. Two gantry cranes also have been added at Berth 2. The terminal has four gantry cranes combined with two existing cranes at Berth 3. As a result, the terminal's annual container handling capacity will more than double from the current 300,000 TEUs to 700,000 TEUs.
