The port of Shanghai handled higher container throughput of 3.27 million TEUs in July on a year-on-year comparison, according to Shanghai International Port (Group) Co (SIPG). The figure represents an increase of 5.1% compared to 3.12 million TEUs recorded in the same period of 2015.
For the first seven months, the world's busiest box port moved a total of 21.16 million TEUs, up 0.1% from the same period last year.
