Member carriers in the Transpacific Stabilization Agreement (TSA) Westbound section have recommended guideline minimum rates for part of fruit shipments moving from the U.S. to Asia.
The new minimum rate for frozen cherry will be $6,100 per container (including the Terminal Handling Charge at a discharging port); $3,600 per container for frozen stone fruits (peaches, nectarines, apricots, plums and pluots) ; and $3,300 for grapes (including the Terminal Handling Charge at a discharging port). The new rates are to take effect May 1, 2016.
