Member shipping lines in the Transpacific Stabilization Agreement (TSA) are recommending across the board rate increase of $600 per FEU, effective April 1, 2016, in a bid to help address ongoing costs.
This follows a general tariff rate increase of $1,200 per FEU to the West Coast and $1,600 per FEU to the East and Gulf Coasts on January 1 and a general rate increase of US$600 per FEU for all shipments on February 1 and again on March 1.
