The port of Singapore has handled lower container throughput of 2.526 million TEUs in August, a double-digit decrease of 12% from the same period last year, according to statistics from the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA).
The figure represents a year-on-year decline in the sixth consecutive month.
