The 125th/126th Annual Sessions of the World Customs Organization (WCO)'s Council took place in Brussels from June 11 to 13 with the participants representing the 180 members.

Among others, the Council celebrated the 10th Anniversary of the SAFE Framework of Standards to Secure and Facilitate Global Trade by adopting a third pillar, Corporation between Customs and Other Government Agencies and Inter-Government Agencies, as well as the incorporation of standards for ''Pre-loading Advance Cargo Information'' (PLACI) with respect to air cargo to facilitate a first layer of security risk analysis in collaboration with civil aviation authorities.

Identified eight data elements (known as 7 + 1) are:
1. the number of pieces
2. total weight
3. general cargo description
4. shipper name
5. shipper address
6. consignee name
7. consignee address

plus the house air waybill number
