Replenished by buoyant container movements on the eastbound transpacific trade from Asia to the U.S., the Transpacific Stabilization Agreement (TSA) has recommended its member carriers to increase their freight rates from all origins in Asia to all destinations in the U.S. by at least $600 per FEU, effective on June 1 and again on July 1, 2015.

The 15-carrier body has also recommended reinstatement of a $400 per FEU peak season surcharge (PSS) effective on July 1 in preparation for a defined peak period.
