The U.K.'s HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) has updated the links to the new online Economic Operator Registration Identification (EORI) application forms, according to the British International Freight Association (BIFA).

Now freight forwarders are no longer permitted to apply for EORI numbers on their customers' behalf.

HMRC will accept the old forms until the June 1, 2015 but the use of the new online forms should be encouraged where ever possible.
