The Informal Rate Agreement (IRA), Informal Red Sea Agreement (IRSA) and Informal South Asia Agreement (ISAA), which cover the trades from the Far East to the Middle East, Red Sea and South Asia, have recommended their member lines to introduce the Thailand Terminal Handling Charge (THC) of THB4,400 per TEU and THB6,800 per FEU for dry cargo moving to/from Thailand, effective January 1, 2015.
For reefer shipments, the surcharges are 30% higher than those for dry cargo.
