Container throughput at mainland China ports grew 7.5% to 17.347 million TEUs in October compared to the same month last year. Marine ports handled 15.639 million TEUs, up 7.9% from the previous year, while inland ports handled 1.738 million TEUs, up 4.8% year on year.
In the first ten months of the year, mainland ports handled a total of 166.550 million TEUs, an increase of 6.0% over the same period last year, while inland ports processed 16.681 million TEUs, a decline of 1.0% on year.
