Container throughput at the port of Shanghai totaled 3.02 million TEUs in October, up 7.5% compared to 2.81 million TEUs recorded in the same month last year.
In the first 10 months of the year, box volumes at the world's busiest container port amounted to 29.47 million TEUs, up 5.4% compared to 27.97 million TEUs recorded in the same period in 2013.
