Container volumes handled at Chinese ports in the first four months of the year totaled 62.496 million TEUs, up 5.7% from the same period last year.
Containers handled at seaports amounted to 56.45 million TEUs, up 6.9% from the corresponding period in 2013 while box traffic processed at river ports declined 1.3% on year to 6.051 million TEUs in the four-month period.
