As a part of their 2014 Japan Business Plan announced November 27, 2013, the Intra-Asia Discussion Agreement (IADA) has recommended a rate restoration of US$50 per TEU for cargo to/from Japan. The increase will take effect on July 1, 2014.
The recommendation is posed to individual IADA members, on a voluntary, non-binding basis.
