Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) has announced that it signed an Exchange of Notes with Paraguay concerning a yen loan for the Eastern Region Export Corridor Improvement Project. The total amount of the project is up to 17,897 million yen.
The project aims to improve transport efficiency and strengthen the competitiveness of Paraguay as an exporting country by improving non-paved roads in Alto Parana and Itapua through the construction of asphalt pavements and the replacement of aging bridges, thereby contributing to the country's economic development and the improvement of the lives of its residents.
