Container throughput at Hong Kong dipped 3.6% on year to 22.288 million TEUs in 2013, representing a decline for the two straight months. Kwai Tsing container terminals handled 17.118 million TEUs, down 2.0% from the previous year, while other than Kwai Tsing container terminals processes 5.170 million TEUs, down 8.4% year on year.
In December 2013, the port of Hong Kong handled 1.962 million TEUs, up 5.4 % compared to 1.862 million TEUs for the same month in 2012.
