In preparation for the implementation of Japan's Advance Filing Rules (AFR), the Japanese version of the 24-hour rules, in March 2014, Nippon Automated Cargo and Port Consolidated System, known as NACCS, is focusing on holding seminars in overseas cities where seminars are not held yet.
In January, seminars in China (Dalian), Vietnam (Hanoi/Ho chi minh) and Australia (Sydney) are scheduled. Also, another seminar will be held in Indonesia (Jakarta).
NACCS has closely cooperated with the authorized service providers for the AFR to reach out shipping lines and NVOCCs abroad and ensure full awareness of the AFR through the direct communication to local seminar participants.
The total number of overseas seminars held overseas in 2013 reached 63 sessions and the total number of participants exceeds 3,800.
