A flood forecast system for the Chao Phraya River basin has been operational in Thailand since Sept 20. The system is funded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
In Thailand , more than 15 provinces have been seen flooding as the rainy season is gaining momentum from early this week.
The new flood forecast provides through the Internet water levels of the Chao Phraya River for the previous week and the forecasts for the coming week both in English and Thai.
