Bangladesh's National Board of Revenue has issued a circular which requires all commercial banks to give clear instructions to the trading circles that Importers’ Business Identification Number be clearly mentioned in Letter of Credit, Bill of Lading/Airway Bill, Invoice, Packing List and all other import documents.
For proper implementation of ongoing automation process of the National Board of Revenue, the subject matter will be treated as most urgent, the government agency said.
