Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) has signed a concession loan agreement amounting to 7.659 billion yen (US$758 billion) with Tanzania which will allow the nation to implement Road Sector Projects Phase II.
The project will cover the upgrading of two international corridors with a total of 391km, one involves the North Corridor (188km) and the other part of the Mtwara Corridor (203km).
The loan will be financed through Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
